ارشادات حضرت خلیفہ المسیح الخامس ایدہ اللہ تعالی 188 مشعل راہ جلد پنجم حصہ دوم Address to Majlis-e-Shura, Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya U۔K۔(Delivered on 29th November 2003) The verses which were recited just now, I will explain one of the verses the first verse in brief۔In which the importance of Shura is explained and later I will give you some necessary important points about the Majlis-e-Shura of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya۔In Islam the institution of Shura is very important۔One of the most important institution even certain to the institution of the Khilafat۔So with this explanation you can feel the importance of Majlis-e-Shura and those who are the members of Majlis-e-Shura, yours importance also of being the member of Majlis-e-Shura۔Islam lays down as a rule to both, the prophets and after the demise of the prophets, his successors, the khulafas to always consult the followers in the matters important for the community and the reason is that to know about the persons of different classes and different communities because in the fold of Islam people come from different communities and different classes۔As I will just give you the brief description۔God has made the seeking of advice the source of mercy for men۔Those who hold consultation, God says that they will not astray away from the path of the justitude۔A saying of the Holy Prophet SAW is narrated by Abu Hurrairah says that the Holy Prophet SAW was very much particular in consulting others in all matters of importance۔So in view of that as we follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet SAW the institution of Majlis-e-Shura is also very much important in Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya۔Hazrat Umer used to say۔You will
