No one can be saved without following the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Those who have malice against the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, will never do well. It was not appropriate for him to sit down to write a commentary because he neither had any share in worldly knowledge nor had he attained inner purity and holiness. That is why I have never read his commen- tary because it is a waste of time. Reading such a man’s book is just a waste of one’s time. An ignorant man—yet arrogant—can never meet a noble end.
