Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 8 194 This address of the Promised Messiah as on the sun and the moon is the interpretation of the second part of the revelation: َ ی ْ وَاَنَا مِنْك ِّ اَنْت َ مِن َ ی ْ وَاَنَا مِنْك ِّ اَنْت َ مِن [You are from Me, and I am from you. ] This is a similitude that is beyond the imagination and concep- tion of man. 1 Speech of the Promised Messiah, Peace and Blessings be upon Him (Delivered in the new guest house before noon on 26 December 1905) I had presented the fact that our Jam a ‘at should have people who are truly knowledgeable about religion and capable of respond- ing fully and effectively to the attacks being made against Islam, both internally and externally. 2 The internal heresies of Islam have reached a point where—due to them and due to igno- rance—we have been declared disbelievers. Furthermore, we are viewed with such contempt that, according to the religious verdicts of opposing scholars, my followers are not even worthy of being buried in a Muslim cemetery. 1. Badr, vol. 1, no. 41, p. 2, dated 29 December 1905 2. It is in Badr that the Promised Messiah as said this while mentioning the re- forms related to the Madrasah.
