When God favours someone, He bestows purity of heart upon him. Purity of the heart cannot be attained without Divine grace. The first thing is that unending desires should continue to decline. It is then that man acquires contentment. When a person uses illicit means all day and remains occupied in chasing after worldly earnings, the heart becomes impure. However, there is no greater admonisher than death; this is indeed the greatest admonisher.
