Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 9 340 during the era of their disbelief, the Caesar had asked them whether someone had made a claim before Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). They responded in the negative. Upon this, the Caesar said that if there had been another claimant before him, he would have considered that Muhammad s as had copied him. To be the first to make a claim is a powerful argument for recognizing a truthful one. Observe that twenty-six to twen- ty-seven years have passed.
