Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 9 194 blessings of Allah be upon him, has conveyed sal a m [the greet- ing of peace] to the Promised Messiah and has bequeathed to have his sal a m conveyed to him. Now, if the Messiah who is to come is the same one that is present among the Prophets in heaven, then he will descend to the world after passing by the Noble Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. He should, therefore, have brought sal a m from the Noble Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to the Muslims rather than the people of this world conveying to him the sal a m of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when he comes here. This is just like the proverb, مت انسؤ ی ٓاؤں اور ربخ ی رھگ ےس ںیم —‘I have come from home, yet you relate the news from there. ’ This message of sal a m of the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, clearly tells us that the one to arise within the Ummah is an individual who has not met the Holy Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. 1 1.
