17 February 1907 147 The Promised Messiah as said: This time around the plague is changing to an extremely per- ilous form. I am pleased with this as it is proving the existence of God Almighty and the impermanence of the world to the people of the world دخا را دخبا وت ادن انشتخ [One can know God only through God]. The response to Sophists who deny the reality of the exist- ence of things that has been mentioned, is indeed that when they are placed in the fire they become convinced of the reality of things. Now Allah the Almighty is making the proof of His existence clear to the world. Sa‘dullah of Ludhiana The Promised Messiah as stated on the mention of Sa‘dullah of Ludhiana: In my Qa si dah of Anj a m-e- A tham I had written regarding him, ٍ ُ بِصَادِق فَلَسْت ْ خُبْثًا اٰذَیْتَنِی ٍ ُ بِصَادِق فَلَسْت ْ خُبْثًا ِاٰذَیْتَنِی ِاِن ْ لَّم ْ تَـمُت ْ بِالْـخِزْی ِ یَا ابْن َ بَغَاء اِن ْ لَّم ْ تَـمُت ْ بِالْـخِزْی ِ یَا ابْن َ بَغَاء Meaning that, ‘You have given me grief by your wickedness; So if now you do not perish in disgrace, I would not be true in my claim O rebellious man!’ The Promised Messiah as said: Sa‘dullah has written about me in the same vein that I shall be seized by the right hand, my life-artery shall be severed and my [Ahmadiyya] Movement shall be ruined. Thus, he had entered into a mub a halah [prayer duel]. Observe now who shall be destroyed and annihilated. This also was the result of the prayer
