Malf uza t - English translation of Urdu Volume 9 116 The Promised Messiah as said: ‘One should fire the gun after reciting the takb i r [saying All a hu Akbar, which means Allah is the Greatest]. Then if the prey dies it is lawful [to eat]. ’ 1 29 January 1907 (Morning Walk) The Result of Hurling Abuse, Slandering Today, His Holiness the Promised Messiah, peace be on him, went out for a walk in the morning with his companions. On the mention of the apostate Dr ‘Abdul- H ak i m, the Promised Messiah as said that, An A rya newspaper, despite its religious opposition to me, wrote that ‘Abdul- H ak i m hurling abuse on me shows his con- temptible nature. This behaviour is extremely inappropriate. One person commented that ‘Abdul- H ak i m says, ‘What has happened to Ja‘far Zatalli who has been severely abusing Mirza [Ghulam Ahmad] Sahib that something would happen to me?’ The Promised Messiah as said: He should have taken heed from the examples of Padre Abdullah Atham, Lekh Ram, Char a gh D i n, resident of Jammu and others who contended with me in prayer duels. 2 Further discourses that took place during this same walk taken from Badr. 1.
