With Love to Muhammad (sa) - The Khatam-un-Nabiyyin — Page 73

Last Law-bearing Prophet sa 73 As for those who say, ‘Our Lord is All ā h,’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend on them, saying : ‘Fear ye not, nor grieve; and rejoice in the Garden that you were promised. We are your friends in this life and in the Hereafter. Therein you will have all that your souls will desire, and therein you will have all that you will ask for — An entertainment from the Most Forgiving, the Merciful. ’ 59 It is clear from the above verse that even a person like Farhan Khan can easily understand its purpose, provided he reads the Holy Qur’ ā n with a clear mind. To put it in simple words, All ā h says that angels descend upon those who believe in Him and remain steadfast, and convey glad tidings of an everlasting jannah. In another verse, All ā h, the Exalted, says that He revealed to the disciples of Hazrat ‘ Ī s ā as : ِْ ىب اٰﻣِﻨُﻮْا ْ اَن َ اﻟْﺤَـﻮَارِﻳّٖﻦ َ اِىل ُ اَوْﺣَﻴْﺖ ْ اِذ َ و ِْ ۚوَﺑِﺮَﺳُﻮْىل اٰﻣَﻨَّﺎ ﻗَﺎﻟُﻮْۤا َ ﻣُﺴْﻠِﻤُﻮْن ابَِﻧَّـﻨَﺎ ْ وَاﺷْﻬَﺪ And when I inspired the disciples of Jesus to believe in Me and in My Messenger, they said, ‘We believe and bear Thou witness that we have submitted. ’ 60 All ā h also revealed to the mother of Hazrat M ū s ā as : ٰۙٓ ﻳُﻮْىح ﻣَﺎ َ اُﻣِّﻚ ٰٓ اِىل ۤ اَوْﺣَﻴْﻨَﺎ ْ اِذ 59 S ū rah H ā M ī m Sajdah 41:31-33 60 S ū rah Al-M ā ’idah 5:112
