Why does he think that All ā h, the Exalted, chose not to give the reason for the revelation of 4:70 which Farhan Khan provides when All ā h, the Exalted, has clearly done that for several other verses of the Qur’ ā n? 3. Why does he refuse to take 4:70 as it is, without confining its meanings based on a weak had ī th ? 4. Does he believe that obedience to All ā h, the Exalted, and His Messenger cannot lead to one becoming truthful ( sidd ī q ) or witness ( shah ī d ) or righteous ( s ā lih ) in this world?
