Opinion of the Sah ā ba ra , Ā ’immah, and Mujaddid ī n rh 237 prophecy did not come to pass in their lifetimes. Due to this reason, they also cannot be held responsible for holding this opinion. Instead, we are the ones who are responsible in the Eyes of All ā h, the Exalted, because in our time, a person has claimed to be that Messiah and he has shown very clear and powerful signs of his truth and that person is Hazrat Mirz ā Ghul ā m Ahmad Q ā di ā n ī as ! Finally, Farhan Khan criticizes Hazrat Mirz ā Ghul ā m Ahmad Q ā di ā n ī as for allegedly changing his opinion in regards to the finality of prophethood. This is not the case! The Promised Messiah as states: Wherever I have denied being a prophet or messenger, it has only been in the sense that I have not brought an independent law nor am I an independent prophet. I am a messenger and prophet only in the sense that I have received spiritual grace from the Messenger sa whom I follow, and, having received his name for myself, and through him, I have received knowledge of the unseen from God. But I have not come with a new law.
