Statements of Hazrat Muhy-ud-d ī n Ibn ‘Arab ī rh 163 In essence, the quotations presented by Farhan Khan only state that the Awliy ā ’ All ā h cannot attain the status of nubuwwah and by presenting them, he has committed the fallacy of false attribution. He has gone to a portion of the writings of Hazrat Ibn ‘Arab ī rh that has little to do with the main issue of dispute and the only reason that compelled him to do so is his strong bias against Isl ā m Ahmadiyya. The issue at hand is not whether the Awliy ā ’ All ā h are prophets or not. The issue is whether the Promised Messiah as of Isl ā m, whose appearance was predicted by the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa , would be a prophet or not. If Farhan Khan had presented a quotation of Hazrat Ibn ‘Arabi rh where he had written that the coming Messiah would not be a prophet of All ā h because nubuwwah has ended with the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa , it would have been relevant to this discussion. Below is an extract from Fut ū h ā tul Makkiyyah which discusses the nubuwwah of the Promised Messiah as and is relevant to the discussion in hand: اﷲ a أMدHا a ا@cم a a MتdZن a اFباب a Kذا a أن a eGہ a بروح a واMاک a توiCت a ﻻ a واFذMن a اF]دد a MحYرKم a اcFذMن a اFرجال a أeاف اWdFاLل a و MتdZن a gFم a Gن a اﻻDابر a إﻻ a اgdc]Mﻻ a اFت’ زGا a ’B a Kم a اFذMن a اﷲ a @باد gH بedزFۃ a م a زGان a ’B a اﻻHبiاء و a اeFبوۃ اH`[]ت a اFت’ a اeFبوۃ a Bان a اF]اGۃ a اeFبوۃ a ‘K اﷲ a ‘c< a اﷲ a ر:ول a بوجود a Hبوۃ a ‘K a أdHا a :cم a وfic@ a a ‘c< a XFر@ہ a Hا:خا a aMون a ;رع a —B a G`اgGا a ﻻ a اFتXرM ع و a و:cم a @icہ a اﷲ ﻻ MزM د a Kذا a و a آخر a ;ر@ا a حdaہ a ’B و a اFر:اFۃ a أن a و:cم a @icہ a اﷲ a ‘c< a CوFہ a ‘e]G a Cد a اeFبوۃ
