106 With Love to Muhammad sa the Kh ā tam-un-Nabiyy ī n ت_iWر a Kٰذا a ان a اF\اKر a ;رح a ‘B a ب]دہ a Gن a او a YcFحاب‘ a اﻻ@راب‘ a ابن a Cال a cWGم a اFخiر a ‘B a Mخcف a اFذی a اF]اCب Cبcہ a Dان a Gن 95 It is clear that this [i. e. , the wording after whom there will be no prophet ] is the commentary made by the companion or someone after him. Ibn Arab ī rh said, “ Al-‘ Ā qib is one who is the successor in goodness of one before him. ” 96 Despite this, Farhan Khan wants us to accept his biased translation. He insists that Hazrat Mull ā ‘Al ī Q ā r ī rh or Hazrat Ibn ‘Arabi rh are both wrong and their understanding of the word “Al-‘ Ā qib” is incorrect. The question is: Do we accept Farhan Khan’s biased translation or Hazrat Mull ā ‘Al ī Q ā r ī ’s honest and insightful understanding? The choice is up to the reader!
