As a result of this, Ahmad as received a revelation from God in which He desired that he should ask Mirza Ahmad Baig to give Ahmad as his daughter, Muhammadi Begum, in marriage. If he agreed to the marriage, it should prove a source of manifold blessings for all of them; but if he refused, it would be bad for Muhammadi Begum. Whoever would marry her after that would die in a period of 2½ years after the marriage, and her father would also die within three years of the date of the marriage.
