Life of Ahmad — Page 116

SHOWING HEAVENLY SIGNS as 116 a Prophet as the truest Prophets of old. It should, however, be remembered that he made numerous prophecies which were all fulfilled according to God’s wonderful ways. Ahmad as once—in 1862 or 1863—saw a vision to the effect that Raja Teja Singh, who had been granted an estate in Batala tehsil in place of his Sialkot estate, had died. He spoke of it to his friend L. Bh i m Sain, a pleader in Sialkot. At about 2 p. m. the same day the then Commissioner of Amritsar came to Sialkot most unexpectedly and instructed the Deputy Commissioner to have a list prepared of all the property belonging to Raja Teja Singh, saying that he had died at Batala the previous day. L. Bh i m Sain very much wondered at the immediate fulfilment of Ahmad’s as vision. Once an English-knowing young man came to see Ahmad as in 1878. In his presence came the revelation in English: 'This is my enmey. ' It referred to the young man, who was himself asked to translate it. He was really and truly an enemy of God. Nawab Sardar Muhammad H ay a t Khan, a judge, was once suspended and prosecuted by the government on various charges. Mirza Ghulam Q a dir asked his brother to pray for him. Ahmad as did so and was told in a vision that the judge would be acquitted and reinstated. Several Hindus and Muslims were informed of this; and the judge was actually reinstated shortly afterwards.
