17 THE MANTLE OF KHILAFAT After becoming the Khalifah his schedule became extremely busy. Even though he was already leading a very active life, he was now responsible for the guidance and moral training of the entire Jama’at spread all over the world. His daily routine would begin by waking up for Tahajjud or voluntary pre-dawn Prayers and he would continue working until very late into the night. He would arrive at his office well before any of the other offices were even open, sometimes staying there until 10 p. m. Every day he would receive thousands of letters from people asking for prayers, as well as numerous other correspondences related to official Hazrat rta addresses the Jama’at at Jalsa Salana Rabwah, Pakistan.
