Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad 26 comprises of two, three or four rak‘ a t. ) The second rak‘at of the nam a z is performed just like the first [with the following differences]. First, the prayer with which the nam a z began, sub ha nakall a h-humma wa bi h amdika , is not recited again and the rak‘at commences with the recitation of S u rah Al - F a ti h ah which is followed by the recitation of another passage of the Holy Qur’an. After this the process remains the same as the first rak‘at. Secondly, when the worshipper completes both prostrations, they do not enter the standing position as they did in the first rak ‘ at , but instead sit on their knees as they did between the two prostrations and recite the words: 羡 ِ 羡للا ُ رَحَْــة 羡 وَ 羡 ُِّ النَّــی 羡 اَیَُّــا 羡 عَلَیْــکَ 羡 َمُ ل اَلسَّــ 羡 ُ وَالطَّیِّبٰــت 羡 ُ الصَّلَــوٰت 羡 وَ 羡 ِِ 羡لل ُ اَلتَّحِیَّــات 羡 اِلَّ 羡 َ اِلٰــہ 羡 لَّ 羡 اَنْ 羡 ُ اَشْــھَد 羡. 羡 َْ ی الصّٰلِحِــ 羡 ِ 羡للا ِ عِبَــاد 羡 َٰ ع 羡 عَلَیْنَــاوَ 羡 َمُ ل اَلسَّــ 羡 بََکَتُــہٗ 羡 وَ ٗ وَرَسُوْلُہ 羡 ٗ عَبْدُہ 羡 مَُمَّدًا 羡 َّ اَن 羡 ُ اَشْھَد 羡 َ و 羡 ُ للا Atta h iyy a tu lill a hi wa s - s alaw a tu wa t - t ayyib a tu assal a mu ‘ala i ka ayyuhan-Nabbiyyu wa ra h matull a hi wa barak a tuh u.
