166 Promised Messiah as , because, otherwise, we will have to believe that God sent His guidance only to some people and left others without guidance. No sane mind can accept this. On the other hand, if they accept this outlook, they will have to accept the truth of Islam as well because Islam is the final religion and because it was Islam that presented this true concept to the world. This was such an amazing discourse that the educated classes and broad-minded people, regardless of which religion they belonged to, could not help but be moved by it. If they were to abandon the principle presented by the Promised Messiah as , they would have to abandon God as well, which they could not do. If they did accept this principle, they would have no recourse but to accept Islam at the same time. Thus, by changing the world’s past conception, which was extremely myopic, the Promised Messiah as provided us with a powerful means to guarantee the supremacy of Islam. The fourth tool given to the Promised Messiah as , which trans - formed the whole debate around Islam and completely dazed its opponents, was that, having received guidance from God, he changed the very course of contemporary religious literature and prescribed certain principles around it which the opponents could not deny, and if they did accept them then they could not hold their own against Islam. They were vanquished either way. They could find no safety either in fight or flight.
