52 The Promised Messiah as trusted his children, encouraging them to never do anything that was wrong. For instance, the Promised Messiah as was once with one of his disciples, who was peeling almonds. Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Deen Mahmood Ahmad ra , who was about four or five years old at the time, came in and took all the almonds. The Promised Messiah as was watching this. He said, ‘He is such a good child. He will not take a lot. He will take only one or two and put back the rest. ’ The child complied immediately and left with only one or two almonds. 6
