11. I were younger and could witness the day when. God will appoint thee for the guidance of mankind. I am afraid thy people will drive thee forth from thy home. " Muhammad, who used to spend every hour of his life thinking over the welfare of his people and of mankind, and who was extremely popular with his townsmen, was surprised to hear this and exclaimed in wonder "Will my people indeed drive drive me forth"?. Warka replied, "That they surely will. No man has ever been entrusted with, a message so vital as thou hast been entrusted with, but his people have oppressed and persecuted him.
