315 correspondence with the Promised Messiah as mentioned that most of the material appearing in Saif-e-Chishtiy a’i written by P i r Mehar ‘Al i Sh a h is copied word by word from the notes of Maulav i Muhammad H asan Fai di and these notes were written by him on the margins of the books I‘j a zul-Mas ih and Shamse B a zighah and these books carrying marginal notes were bought. This is how the devious P i r was exposed who made the allegations that the Promised Messiah as had plagiarized whereas the same charge recoiled on him. The Promised Messiah as also replied to criticism that P i r Mehar ‘Al i Sh a h made in his book, Saif-e-Chishtiy a’i about the merit of the I‘j a zul-Mas ih. The Promised Messiah as also established that the revelation made to him were revelation of high order. The P i r also made an allegation that the Promised Messiah as had been plagiarizing from Maq a m a t-e- H ar i r i but what actually transpired was that P i r Mehar ‘Al i Sh a h had himself plagiarized from the notes of Maulav i Muhammad H asan Fai di which the Maulav i had written marginally on the I‘j a zul-Mas ih and Shamse B a zighah by Hadrat Maulav i Muhammad A h san Amrohi. This information was given by Mi an Shah a budd i n and Maulav i Karam D i n in their letters to the Promised Messiah as. This whole correspondence has also been published in this book.
