She was a pious lady who passed her exemplary virtuous deeds on to her children. Her real name was Ghameesaa, but she was known as Umme Sulaim ra. Her father was Malhaan Bin Khalid and her mother’s name was Mulaikah. 1 Acceptance of Islam & Marriage The incidents of ’s ra acceptance of Islam and her wedding are very interesting. Before accepting Islam, she was married to Maalik Bin Nazar. Soon after Anas was born, she became one of the earliest followers in Madinah to join Islam.
