A U T H O R’ S N O T E The orig inal Urdu version of t his book, titled “ Ḥaḍrat Mir Muhammad Ismail” was written on the instructions of Ḥaḍrat Khalīfatul - Masīḥ V – may Allah be his Helper – on the occasion of the Khilafat Cen tenary Celebrations in 2008. The f ir st e dition in Urdu , which wa s an abridged edition, was published in 2008. The s econd Urdu e dition , with the complete text, was published by Na z ā rat Nashr - o - Ish ā‘ at Qadian in 2009 , while a t hird e dition was published by Wak ā lat Ta s n ī f London in 2013. This book is the English version of the latest Urdu e dition of “ Ḥaḍrat Mir Muhammad Ismail”. It has been rendered into English by the author himself. The Urdu poetry of Ḥaḍrat Mir Ismail quoted in this book, ha s also been translated into English by the author.
