93 In her interview with the author, Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib 's daughter Syeda Amtul Quddoos (Begum Sahibzada Mirza Wasim Ahmad) narrated that Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib 's Tahajjud prayers would start sometime after midnight. She recalled that the sound of his supplicating and his weeping and sobbing could sometimes be heard outside his room. She narrated that he would wake up his children for Fajr prayers by reciting the Qur’ān in an audible voice. She recalled that her father's recitation of the Qur’ān wa s beautiful and melodious. He would advise his children to recite the Qur’ān after their Fajr prayers. When his children would recite the Qur’ān , he would gently stroll through the room and when required would correct their errors in recitation. Syeda Amt ul Qud d oos related that Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra had made a will that all his daughters be married with the approval of the Khalifa. Three of his seven daughters got married during his lifetime. According to his will, the remaining four daughters were wedded wit h the approval of Ḥaḍrat Khalīfatul - Masīḥ II ra , after Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra had passed away. In certain matters of principle, Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib ra showed very little flexibility. Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib 's daughter, Sayeda Amtul Rafique (Begum Sayed H a z rat ullah Pasha ), narrated to the author: Once , Abb ā J ā n ( Ḥaḍrat Mir Muhammad Ismail ra ) reached home to find that Ahmad Husain ( Ḥaḍrat Mir Sahib 's employee for domestic help) was having Roti and D ā l (bread with lentils) for lunch.
