In response to Christian attacks, he had written a forceful book, Fasl-ul- Khitaab; it is remarkable and a fine model of scholarship. About his acumen as a physician, he said: The patient did not have to come a second time. He would in one full glance see the whole anatomy of that person, and he would prescribe the medicines based on his own personal experience.
