Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad—Khalifatul-Masih V aba 23 the matter is that they had completely abandoned all worldly desires and had resigned themselves to the Threshold of God. They were the ones who completely devoted themselves in the way of Allah. ’ 10 Thus, this is the true understanding of the rank and station of the four Khulafaa as explained to us by the Promised Messiah as. A Muslim will only be deemed a true Muslim when one recognises the rank and honour of these noble men and it is by removing their mutual differences that they can become part of one Ummah. Otherwise, conflict and internal disputes can be of no benefit to Islam. The enemy however, will use this to their advantage; indeed they are doing so as we are witnessing in this day and age. Thus, today, if one wishes to serve Islam and has the desire to safeguard it, then this can only be achieved by attaching oneself to the Champion of Allah, whom Allah the Almighty sent for this very purpose in this present era.
