S u rah Quraish, Chapter 106 67 Second Rak‘ah of the Friday Maghrib Prayer Importance of S u rah Quraish • 1 An Arab while looking at the bewildering loneliness of Qadian commented to the Promised Messiah as that it was only in his honour that so many people visited such a remote place, otherwise who would want to bother to come to such a bleak and arid place? At which the Promised Messiah as smiled and said, “The example of this place is like Makkah, where people had to bring in provisions for routine use from distant places. The same is hinted about this place as mentioned in S u rah Quraish”. • 2 In continuation with S u rah al-F i l, which explained the bad endings of those who have animosity against the Holy Ka‘bah, S u rah Quraish promises the reward for people who hold the Holy Ka‘bah as a place of reverence. 1 Tafs i rul-Qur’ a n by The Promised Messiah as , Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadi a n, Page 490 available on www. alislam. org 2 Tafs i r-e-Kab i r.
