38 God Almighty , and new oaths tend to be far more sincere than old ones , t hey [ Ahmadis ] have proclaimed before the world that they will serve Islam and that by sacrificing our lives and our wealth, we will stake the flag of Islam in every corner of the world. Until they [Ahmadi Muslims] prove by their example that e very man and woman from among them is liv ing their lives by this promise ; until they prove that enthusiastic devotion and dedication for Islam is th eir mark of distinction and that each and every action of theirs reflect s th is devotion ; until then, the ir claim that we stand to serve Islam will be a false claim. They will stand disgrace d in the eyes of friends and foes. I pray to God that He may enable each Ahmadi man and woman and all other Muslims , to un derstand their responsibilities and that He may grant them the strength of will to offer their own sacrifice and of their relatives s o that it is not the case that they themselves say , ‘ we are making sacrifices, ’ but rather upon seeing their sacrifice, Allah ’s angels i n heaven praise them and pray for their success and elevated rank. May God Almighty save Muslims from their c u rrent difficulties and grant them the strength to lead a life of respect, freedom, and success , Am ī n.
