He should have pondered over the fact that his own holy scriptures have acknowledged the pure mean - ing of the word ‘ arab , which is why those books, in many places, use the word ‘ arab to denote Arab—which points towards the uniqueness of eloquence. Thus, prior to the existence of the Gospels, the Bible uses the word ‘ arab numerous times. Furthermore, those prophets who made prophecies in relation to the Arab land, used the word ‘ arab. If the word ‘ arab does not owe its origin to God Almighty, then it would inevitably entail that the Gospels and all those books that are considered Holy Scripture are not from God Almighty, in such a case, due to this prejudice, all these books will have to be forsaken. He says : In my opinion, the beginning of the science of language occurred on the first day of Pentecost. My response : Since the Acts of the Apostles narrates that the disciples of Jesus began to speak in a variety of tongues, therefore Max Müller takes this as conclusive evidence that it was the Christian religion that laid the foundation of research into language.
