AN EXPOSITION OF SOME CRITICI SMS AG AINST KHILAFAT - E - RASHIDA 3 Prophethood shall remain among you as long as God shall will. He will bring about its end and follow it with Khilafat on the precepts of prophethood for as long as He shall will and then bring about its end. An unimaginative kingship shall then follow to r emain as long as God shall will and then come to an end. There shall then be a cruel rule which shall remain as long as God shall will and come to an end upon his decree. There will then emerge Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood. The Holy Prophet said no more. (Masnad - i - Ahmad as quoted by Mishqat in Babul Inzar - wa - Tahzir).
