88. Essence of Islam-V. Remember, these are extremely perilous times, and the calamity is close at hand! Be virtuous, and perform good deeds. God Almighty is Most Forbearing, but at the same time His wrath is a fire that consumes everything. He does not allow the virtuous to be wasted. 23 مَا يَفْعَلُ اللهُ بِعَذَا بِكُمْ اِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ وَأَمَنْتُمْ 2 نه پندارم که بد بیند خدا ترسے نکو کارے بترسید از خدائے بے نیاز وسخت تمہارے که می ترسد ازاں یارے کہ غفا رست وستارے مرا باور نمی آید که رسوا گردد آں مردے ز دنیا تو بہ کردندے بچشم زار و خو نبارے گر آں چیزے کہ می بینم عزیزاں نیز دید ندے ز میں طاعوں ہمی آرد پئے تخویف و انذارے خور تاباں سیه گشت ست از بدکاری مردم علاجے نیست بہر دفع آں جز حسن کردارے به تشویش قیامت ماند ایں تشویش گر بینی که گر خواهد گشد در یکدمے چوں کرم بیکاری نشاید تافتن سرزاں جناب عزت وغیرت خرداز بہرائیں روز ست اے دانا ؤ ہشیارے 24 من از همدردی است گفتم تو خود ہم فکرم کن بارے [Majmu'ah Ishtihārāt, vol. 3, pp. 2-7] 23 Why should Allāh punish you, if you are thankful and if you believe? I do not believe that such a person is disgraced,. Who fears the Beloved-the Most Forgiving and Most Overlooking. . If my dear friends could also have seen what I see;. They would have renounced the world and shed tears from their eyes. . The shining sun has become dark because of the evil of the people;. The earth is also filled with the plague to warn and to admonish. . If you come to think of it, this calamity is like doomsday;. And to ward it off there is no remedy except recourse to righteousness.
