84. Essence of Islam-IV hand will demonstrate to them that I am the one who was to come. [Haqiqat-ul-Waḥī, Rūḥānī Khazā'in, vol. 22, pp. 521-523]. On several occasions, God Almighty has informed me through visions that Krishnā, who appeared among the Āryas was a chosen one of God, and was one of the Prophets of his age. Indeed, the word Avatār, current among the Hindus, is in fact synonymous with the word Prophet. There is a prophecy in the Hindu scriptures that an Avatar will appear in the latter days who will possess the qualities of Krishnā and will be his Burūz [re-advent by way of reflection]. It has been disclosed to me that I am that person. Krishnā has two qualities: First, he is. Ruddar, the slayer of wild beasts and swine-with reason and heavenly signs; Secondly, he is Gaupāl, or nourisher of cows, that is to say, a helper of the pious with his spiritual breath.
