It should not be , that as soon as the husband goes to work the wife picks up her bag and whilst leaving children at home , she goes out to meet her friends or does not pay proper attention to the upbringing of the children. In deed, upbringing of children is a huge responsibility on a woman. She cannot be counted among salihaat صالحات (virtuous) or qanitaat قانتات (obedient) women without fulfilling it. And she cannot fulfil the dues of safeguarding the next generation either, a responsibility given to her by Allah the Exalted.
