It is equal to ]ø Ú ô à ø and means: He was or became trustworthy or trustful. æ ø ]F Ú ø ßø ã ö Ü » Ú ôù à » ì ø ç » Í õ : And rendered them safe from fear (106:5).  Ú ø à ø [aor. mö © » Ú ô à ö and inf. noun ]ô m» Û ø ^ á º ] ]F Ú ø ßø ä ü and ]ø Ú $ ßø ä ü : He rendered him safe or secure; he gave him protection. ]F Ú ø à ø Ê ö ¡ø á º ] Ö» Ã ø  ö æ $ : Such a one gave protection to the enemy. ]F Ú ø à ø eô ^ Ö × # ä ô : He believed in God. ]F Ú ø à ø Öø ä ü : He believed him; he believed in what he said. ]F Ú ø ß» jö Ü » eô ä´ Î ø f» Ø ø ]ø á » ]F  ø á ø Öø Ó ö Ü » (7:124) and ]F Ú ø ß» jö Ü » Öø ä ü Î ø f» Ø ø ]ø á » ]F  ø á ø Öø Ó ö Ü » (26:50): Both mean, you believed in him before I gave you leave. mö ç , Ú ô à ö eô ^ Ö × # ä ô æ ø mö ç , Ú ô à ö Öô ×» Û ö ç , Ú ô ßô n» à ø : He believes in Allah and believes the faithful i. e. believes what they say to be truthful or he gives credit to them. ]F Ú ø à ø Öø ä ü Öö ç » ½ º : Lot believed in him or believed him (29:27). Öø à » Þ % © » Ú ô à ø Öô  ö Î ô n ô ù Ô ø : We will not believe in thy ascension (17:94).
