It is said that the primary signification of ]ø Ö  $ h % is ]ø Ö j $  » eô nø è ö ; i. e. the bringing a thing to a state of completion by degrees.  ø h $ ] Ö ßôù à » Û ø è ø : He increased or rightly disposed the benefaction.  ø h $ ] » ø Ú »  ø : He put the affair in a proper state; he managed, conducted or regulated the affair and established it firmly.  ø h $ ] Ö  $ o » ð ø : He collected the thing and possessed it.  ø h $ eô ^ Ö» Û ø Ó ø ^ á ô : He stayed in the house.  ø h $ ] Ö  % â » à ø : He made the oil fragrant or good and sweet or perfumed it.  ø h $ æ ø  ø e $ g ø ] Ö» ç ø Öø  ø ]ø æ »  ø e $ ^ å ö (inf. noun iø  » eô n» g º ) : He brought up the child and took care of him till he reached his puberty. Ò ø Û $ ^  ø e $ nø ^ Þô o »  ø Ç ô n»  ÷ ] : As they nourished me in my childhood (17:25).  ø h ' : A lord, possessor, an owner of an anything; (  ø h ' and Ú ø ^ Öô Ô º and  ø ^ u ô g º are syn. ) A lord, master or chief; a lord, ruler, governor, regulator; a rearer, fosterer, nourisher and an accomplisher. It is an inf. noun used as an intensive epithet, like  ø  » Ù º. â ö ç ø  ø h % ] Ö  $ ]  ô i. e. he is the master of the house and  ø h % ] Ö» Û ø ^ Ù ô : He is proprietor 306  ]ÿ p  h ù
