With this comment, the author of the book has proved the lifelong work of P i r Meher ‘Al i purposeless and all his efforts futile. P i r Meher ‘Al i spent all his life proving that the Arabic word ( tawaff i ) means ‘To take away in its entirety’. So that when this word is used for Jesus [ Hadrat ‘ I s a as ], its purport is that Allah took Jesus [ Hadrat ‘ I s a as ] as a whole to Heaven, where he still lives; but notice the irony. As soon as the P i r breathed his last, his special devotee Maul a n a Fai d Ahmad Fai d ruined all his hard work and proved that ( tawaff i ) does not mean ‘to take up in its entirety’; it simply means ‘to die’. This devotee of his wrote ّ ودودا ّد ۃ that is, friend of Allah and Mujaddid of the Divine path has died, not ‘taken up as a whole’. We must remember that permission to publish this book, Mehr- e-Mun i r, was specially obtained from Syed Ghul a m Muhy i ud-D i n, son of P i r [Meher ‘Al i ], who adored the throne of Golrha.
