( A sha b-e-Ahmad, vol. 5, p. 130, published in 1964) Concerning Hadrat Maulav i H ak i m N u r-ud-D i n ra of Bhera, the Promised Messiah as says: There is no one else that I could compare with the colossal amount of financial help that he has accorded me. I have found him having a natural tendency, with a deep convic- tion of the heart, to serve most devotedly the cause of faith. Although his daily life is fully dedicated in all aspects to be a true servant of Islam and to serve the Muslims, but from among the helpers of this Movement he has proved to be of the first order. ( Iz a la-e-’Auh a m , p. 777, R uha n i Khaz a’ in. vol. 3, p. 520) He states about Hadrat Maulav i ‘Abdul Kar i m ra Si a lkot i : His life was spent coloured in innocence, and he did not adopt any of the worldly luxuries. He left his employment because it caused humiliation to the faith. A short while ago he had a job offer paying Rup ees two hundred monthly, but he flatly declined. He spent his life with humility. He only liked to read Arabic books. He spent his life defending the external and internal attacks on Islam. Despite extreme illness and weakness he continued to write.
