And he desires for them what he desires for him- self, and even in his absence he wishes him well. ’ ( Sunanud-D a rimiyyi , Kit ab- ul-Ist i dh a n, B a bun f i H aqqil- Muslimi ‘alal-Muslim) It is reported that: Hadrat ‘Abdull a h Bin ‘Umar ra narrates that the Messenger of Allah said, ‘Do not be jealous of one another. Do not raise prices to harm each other. Do not hold grudges against each other. Do not turn your backs on each other, and do not be indifferent to each other. And do not bid on deals that are closed. Instead, you should live like servants of God and be brotherly to each other. A Muslim does not wrong his brother. He does not insult him, and he does not embarrass or humiliate him. ” He pointed to his chest and said, “Piety is here. ” He repeated these words three times, then he said, “It is enough misfortune for a man that he should look at his Muslim brother with disdain. Every Muslim’s blood, wealth, honour and respect are sacred and sanctified for the other Muslim. ’ ( S a hih M usli m, Kit ab- ul-Birri wa s-S ilah, B a bu Ta hri m i-Z ulmil Muslim i Wa Khadhlih) Then it is reported that: Hadrat Ab u Hurairah ra states that the Holy Prophet sa said, ‘Whosoever helps remove the worldly anguish and suffering of a Muslim will have his anguish and suffering removed by Allah the Almighty on the Day of Judgement. Whosoever brings relief to a poor person and brings ease to him will have ease created for him by Allah the Almighty in the hereafter.
