48 The commentary of al-Qa si dah He is Jesus. The dead who were given life by Jesus died spiritually again, but to rejoice because those who devoted themselves to this Jesus (i. e. Maul a n a R u m i ) would live forever. ( Kulliy a t-e-Mathnaw i , Maul a n a Jal a l-ud-D i n R u m i , vol. 4, p. 29, Qa si dah Mithl-e-Q a ni‘ Shudan A dmi, Printed by Intish a r a t Kit a bchai, Tehran) As the writer of this Qa si dah considered the Holy Prophet sa to be the sun of beauty and benevolence, nothing in the world could restrain his love for him, nor could anyone interfere in this relationship.
