2 The commentary of al-Qa si dah Hadrat Doctor Khalifah Rash i d-ud-D i n, may All a h be pleased with him, stated that the Promised Messiah as used to say regarding the Qa si dah, ‘If any person committed it to memory, All a h would bless such a person’s memory’. Another narration relevant to this Qa si dah has been related by the late Hadrat P i r Sir a jul- H aqq, may All a h be pleased with him: When the Promised Messiah, peace be upon him, finished writing this Qa si dah, his face lit up with joy and he stated ‘This Qa si dah has been accepted by All a h, and He has informed me that whoever memorizes this Qa si dah and repeats it constantly, such a person’s heart would be deeply engrained with love for Me and Prophet Mu h ammad, peace and blessings of All a h be upon him, and I will reward him with nearness to Me’. I considered writing the explanation of this Qa si dah almost 30 years ago, but I was never able to begin. Last year during the last 10 days of Ramadan, I was determined and prompted myself to document the meanings of the complex words, but even with that I was unable to begin. In February of this year, I became ill with plurasea and diabetes and for two and a quarter months remained in Mayo Hospital, Lahore. I came to spend the summer in Quetta as per the recommendation of my doctor.
