473 thereof is with my Lord in the book of decrees. My Lord erreth not, nor forgetteh. XX: 5 1,52. The Holy Prophet Mahornad, Peace and blessings of God be on him says : Verily God shall raise for my followers at the beginning of every century a man wbo shall revive their religion for them. He wbo dies without recognising the Imam-e Zaman (i. e. the Spiritual leader of the time) certainly perishes in a death of ignorance. The man who died without the Spiritual Leader certainly perisbed in ignorance ; and he wbo refused to obey him sball have no argument (for bis salvation) on the Judgment Day. Four men will offer tbeir excuses on the Day of Resurrection. Firstly the deaf wbo hears nothing. Secondly the insane, thirdly the old decrepit and fourthly the still born. The deaf will say, my Lord Islam came and I heard nothing; the insane will say, Islam came and I was pelted by boys ; the old person will say, Islam came and I understood nothing; the still born will say, my Lord no Apostle of thine came to me.
