Before I put forth the event of the curcifixion as it was, I would like to furnish from the gospels those arguments which prove that Jesus did not die on the cross. (1) The Torah says about the impostor prophet: "-but that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your. And again: "And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is accursed by God; you shall not defile your land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.
