A Review of the Pakistani Government’s “White Paper”: Qadiyaniyyat—A Grave Threat to Islam [ 35 ] sented this question to the A h r a r maulav i s pointedly. They said: you claim that you want to take away the basic human rights of non-Muslims in the name of Islam. Here you are in the safe environment of this country that you have accepted as a prostitute. In the protective environment of this country, you are making tall claims and you are saying that it is fine and good that Pakistan has come into exist- ence but there is no room for the non-Muslims in it and you will take away all their basic human rights. Then the Honourable Judge asked: Q. —If we were to have an Islamic State in Pakistan, what will be the position of the kuffar (non- Muslims)? Will they have a voice in the making of laws, the right of administering the law and the right to hold public offices? A. —Their position will be that of zimmies. They will have no voice in the making of laws, no right to administer the law and no right to hold public offices.
