As soon as he saw Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahm ad in person he knew that this was what he had been looking for his whole life and that he, Nuruddin, would be wi lling to die for this man, Hazrat Ahmad. Hazrat Nuruddin became the first man to accept the baiat at the hand of the Promised Messiah, peace be on him. He had so much love and respect for the Proimsed Messiah that he was willing to give up anything and never once would he miss it. Nuruddin placed his faith above everything else in this world. The Promised Messiah loved Hazrat Nuruddin so much that he said, "I wish that everyone could be like Nuruddin. " So you see, all of his life Hazrat Maulvi Nuruddin proved that he was a special person. Because of this Allah, the All Knowing, made him the first Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam.
