Details of the Signs 109 And, among my signs that have been manifested during this time is the death1 of my opponents who became my enemies, per- secuted me and called me an infidel. They mounted their rostrums to hurl abuse at me and dragged me towards the courts of the rul- ers. Hence, you ought to know that Allah addressed me thus: َ َ یَا أحْمَدِي ْ أنْت َ مُرَادِي ْ وَمَعِيْ. أنْت َ وَجِیْہ ٌ فِي ْ حَضْرَتِيْ. إِخْتَرْتُك َ لِنَفْسِيْ، وَسِرُّك َ یَعْلَمُھَا الْخَلْقُ. إِذَا غَضِبْت إْل ٍ ْ سِرِّيْ. وَأنْت َ مَعِي ْ وَأنَا مَعَكَ. وَأنْت َ مِنِّي ْ بِمَنْزِلَۃ ُّ غَضِبْتُ، و َ کُل ُّ مَا أحْبَبْت َ أحْبَبْتُ. إِنِّي ْ مُھِیْن ٌ مَن ْ أَرَاد َ إِھَانَتَكَ، و َ إِنِّي ْ مُعِیْن ٌ مَن ُأَرَاد َ إِعَانَتَكَ. إِنِّي ْ أَنَا الصَّاعِقَۃُ. تُخْرَج ُ الصُّدُوْر ُ إِلَی الْقُبُوْرِ. إِنَّا تَجَالَدْنَا فَانْقَطَع َ الْعَدُو وَأَسْبَابُہ [O My Ahmad, you are My purpose and are with Me. You have a high standing in My presence. I have chosen you for Myself and your secret is My secret. And you are with Me and I am with you. You have a standing with Me of which the people have no knowledge. When you are angry, I am angry and everyone you love, I love. I shall humiliate him who designs to humiliate you. And I shall help him who designs to help you. I am indeed the Lightning. The lead- ing ones will be driven to their graves. We vanquished the enemy and all his resources were cut off. ] After this, another person namely Muhammad Bakhsh unjustly antagonized me and took me before the authorities. He thus 1. One among them was a man by the name of Rusul B a b a of Amritsar. Prior to his death, I had already published in I‘j a z-e-Ahmad i that a re- ligious scholar of this town would die of the plague. After this, Rusul B a b a died in Amritsar. This is a great sign that has been shown in these [three] years. O wise ones, do reflect! (Author)
