41 The Month of Fasting Has Begun The moon has been sighted Everyone is delighted It will be lots of fun The month of fasting has begun. Breakfast just before dawn Reciting the Holy Quran Till the rising of the sun The month of fasting has begun. No food during the day No visits to the café No work will be left undone The month of fasting has begun. No drinking, no eating Absolutely no cheating! All the evils we will shun The month of fasting has begun. One should never forget To break the fast at sunset. God’s pleasure will be won The month of fasting has begun.
