75 been seeking for a long time. However, it is possible that the Muslim League may be using some other term for it. In short, even though an official who held a responsible position greatly emphasized that the Muslim League would not be harmful, the Promised Messiah as reiterated that their activities would not result in something good. Eventually, his statement proved to be true. Remember it well that the reason why the Promised Messiah as has stopped his Jam a ‘at from taking an even legitimate interest in politics is not that politics is bad in itself; rather, he did it keeping in view its being more harmful than beneficial at this particular juncture. Here, I will continue to explain this point even further. There is a hadith which says: That is, a time will come when such rulers will appear who will desire everything good only for themselves and will pay no attention to the comfort of the ordinary people, and such things will appear which you will abhor. The companions of the Holy Prophet sa submitted, ‘O Prophet of God! What are we supposed to do in such a situation?’ That is, they asked whether they should stand against such rulers and forcefully put them on the right track. The Holy Prophet sa said, ‘Do fulfil your obligations which you owe to the rulers, and as for the rights which they owe to you, do not demand it of them. Let God Himself take care of your needs, and pray that may He be your help. ’ On the other hand, there is another hadith also which says:
