70 and performed Istikh a rah , beseeching God for guidance and submitting to Him, ‘O my Lord! If the right path is that of Khilafat , pray do let me know. If not, show me the straight path, and do not let me off the path of the righteous lest I go astray. ’ But, alas! There are many who did not give heed to this method. I told many of my friends about this method and they acted upon it and received guidance from Allah through some dream or revelation, or God blessed their hearts with satisfaction and conviction in some other way. If someone is still in doubt and feels apprehensive, he can still follow this same method. God will surely guide him on the right path. In my first speech, I was only able to highlight one point, but there are fourteen more points to speak on. Four of them require the same time to explain as the first one, but I have neither the strength nor the time needed to do so. In addition, there is another important point to be discussed tomorrow. By the grace of Allah, I am feeling relieved of the cough, but I have started feeling some pain in the chest. Therefore, I would like to explain the remaining points more concisely. God willing, I shall speak on them in greater detail at some other time. Politics One more thing that I must speak on is politics.
