Had a register been opened at that time, Ahmad i s may not have faced as much of trouble as they are facing today. Marriage is Essential It is essential for every nation, if they wish to survive and prosper in the world, to maintain the institution of marriage. This is also the decree of God regarding this institution. The Holy Prophet sa has stated that all believers should marry, and that one who dies unmarried, dies a death of ignorance; but Ahmad i s are faced with a number of problems in following this important injunction. The reason is that the relationship with non-Ahmad i s is not so amicable, so as a result they refuse to give their daughters in marriage to them. People living in the same village sometimes marry their daughters off to people living in the same village, and so that their daughters won’t have to go outside the village. But Ahmad i s are not confined to one single place. They are scattered in distances apart from each other. Moreover, their numbers are also very small. Therefore, if they marry their daughters only to Ahmad i s, they have to send them to far off places. The condition and culture of those living far away has to be carefully examined. Those related to the boy are curious about the habits and physical features of the girl; whereas, those related to the girl want the boy to be of some good standing if they have to send their daughter to a remote place.
