•oUR BELoVED MASTER• 62 from the sky. The people of Makkah were very worried. On this occasion, Ab u Ta lib said to his nephew, “My dear, people are much agitated without water. You are innocent of heart and pure of tongue and I observe that your exis- tence is an admirable one. Take the people of the city with you to the jungle and pray to God for water. ” The nephew answered, “Uncle, of what significance am I or my prayer? This is the job of older and nobler people while I am just a child! However, I cannot refuse to obey your order. I will pray. It is possible that although I am weak, God will accept my prayer and eliminate the drought. ” Thus our little Master sa went to the jungle with all the noble men and the dwellers of Makkah and standing in front of the entire group raised his small hands in prayer. It was as if the angels of the clouds had been waiting for that very moment. Immediately upon his prayer, it rained to the extent that all the suffering caused by the drought was eliminated and the desire of the Makkans was fulfilled! For the first time ever, the Quraish realized that there was a sacred boy living amongst them. This was the first prayer of that sacred boy.
